BOSCH Impact Drills

Drilling large holes

Installing switches or laying pipes often requires larger holes.  

How to proceed:

Select the accessory that has the desired diameter.

Set the required drilling depth.

Attention: Switch off the impact mechanism when drilling!
 

Equipment required:

For large holes, you will need, in addition to your Bosch impact drill, a special tool called a core cutter or holesaw (diameter 25 to 68 mm). With this tool, you can drill in soft materials like fibreboard or wood. 

Tip:

when possible, use a  drill stand  to ensure precise guidance.
