The Bosch Recycling Service rounds off our service offerings into a complete service package. Every scrapped tool can be returned to us. We feel responsible for the protection of environment 87% of a disused Bosch power tool is recyclable. The old tools and power packs are processed in a quality-controlled recycling facility.

We are customer-orientated. As we feel responsible for our products at every stage in their life-span, we will also collect the old tools and battery packs free of charge.

Please speak to your specialist dealer, who will be glad to dispose of your power tool free of charge in an environmentally friendly manner. The quickest way to find the name of your nearest dealer is to look it up in the Dealer Index.

The Bosch Battery Recycling Procedure - Battery Tools and Environment.

Bosch offers to recycle old batteries to protect our environment. Bosch rechargeable battery tools and rechargeable battery packs are built to the highest quality standards, they can be re-charged again and again, ensuring that your Bosch tools perform with full efficiency.

However, rechargeable batteries eventually need to be replaced. When this happens, it is important not to discard your old battery tool or battery pack in a hazardous manner.
Rechargeable batteries contain materials that could be detrimental to the environment when burned or disposed of with other waste materials.

To help protect the environment Bosch has instigated a Battery Disposal Scheme. If there comes a time when you have to dispose of a Bosch battery tool or a Bosch battery pack, then please call the Bosch Power Tool Service centre on 0844 736 0107. In turn, the Service Centre will forward the unwanted unit to a specialist Bosch plant where the battery materials will be safely recycled - minimising wastage and protecting the environment.
