High level of operating comfort for the professional:
New Double Bevel Slide Mitre Saws GCM 10 SD and GCM 12 SD from Bosch

Our new Double Bevel Slide Mitre Saws GCM 10 SD and GCM 12 SD offer you a level of operating comfort that has never before been achieved in this tool class. With their high motor power and cutting capacity they are suitable for many tasks performed by carpenters, joiners, cabinet makers or interior decorators.

All angles for bevel cuts can be set on the front of the machine. The handle is equipped with Softgrip and can be locked in four positions – offering an optimum grip for any task. The integrated bench extension can be set without the need for additional tools and is used for safe sawing of long workpieces. The setting scales feature large, easy-to-read markings.

Both machines have a powerful 1800-Watt motor and allow for mitre cuts up to 52 degrees to the left and 60 degrees to the right. Points of engagement at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, 45 and 60 degrees facilitate exact setting of frequently required angles. The trapezoidal notches for angle engagement guarantee precision over the entire service life of the machines. For bevel cuts, the saw blade on the GCM 10 SD can be turned up to 47 degrees to the left and 46 degrees to the right. On the GCM 12 SD, this angle is 47 degrees in both cases. Bosch has also installed two locking positions for this: at 33.9 degrees and 45 degrees. The electronic protective guard locking ensures optimum safety.

The significant difference between the two new double bevel slide mitre saws is the size of the saw blade and, therefore, the cutting capacity. The GCM 10 SD has a saw blade with a diameter of 254 millimetres, enabling it to perform mitre cuts in square timber and panels up to 85x305 millimetres. When the saw blade is simultaneously turned to 45 degrees and inclined by 45 degrees, the machine can still cut workpieces up to 50x216 millimetres.

The GCM 12 SD with its 305 millimetre large saw blade offers an even greater cutting capacity. It can perform mitre cuts up to 110x305 millimetres and double mitre cuts up to 63x217 millimetres. Nevertheless, with its weight of 29 kilograms it is just one kilogram heavier than the smaller model.

Large carrying handles on the front and rear of the machines and a cable holder make it easier to transport the tools. Alternatively, the double bevel slide mitre saws can also be carried at the rounded handles on the bottom of the machine.
