An impact drill alone is not enough to get started. You will also need other tools before you can begin your first project:
Drill bits or screwdriver bits, saw blades, brushes or a stirrer basket. Choosing the right tool will depend upon what you want to accomplish and which materials you plan to use.

In the past, impact drills usually had a 'keyed chuck'. Changing drill bits or other tools on these machines typically required the use of a special key (the chuck key). 
Bosch eliminated the need for special tools by introducing the Keyless chuck on most new impact drills.
