Could your wooden window shutters do with a new coat of paint? Before you start painting, the old paint has to be removed. If your shutters have slats, this is not very easy to do.
The BOSCH Delta Sander, however, has a louvre sanding attachment. This enables you to get into even hard-to-reach places. You are best to use white:Paint sanding sheets. They do not get stuck to the old paint when sanding.
Proceed as follows: |
Set the speed on the delta sander to suit the material:
select a higher speed for dry, easy-to-sand paint and select a lower speed for greasy paint containing oil. |
Stick the white:Paint sanding sheet with grit of 40 onto the louvre sanding attachment. |
Attach the hose to your sanding tool and connect it to a household vacuum cleaner or to a BOSCH All-Purpose Vacuum. |
Switch on the devices and sand in between the slats with a constant rate of advance. |
Use a sanding sheet with a grit of 80 for resanding. |
If the sanding sheet is worn down or clogged up at the front, simply turn the sanding plate by 120 degrees. |
Once you have finished sanding, give your shutter a new coat of paint. |
