Even faster and more powerful:
New Blade Shredders with high material throughput rate

• New Bosch "PowerDrive" motors with 2000 watts or 2200 watts
• Double-hardened, laser-cut blades for extremely high cutting performance

The Bosch Blade Shredders AXT Rapid are even more powerful than their predecessors. The new AXT Rapid 2000 and AXT Rapid 2200 models with 2000 and 2200 watt "PowerDrive" motors are equipped with the reduction gear unit developed by Bosch: it reduces the 17,500 revolutions per minute of the motor to a blade speed of 3,650 revolutions per minute, enabling it to achieve particularly high torques of 12 or 14 newtonmeters. The enormous power reserves largely prevent the motor from being blocked with cuttings when the shredder is filled. Thanks to "Constant Electronic", the speed remains constant to a large extent regardless of the load. 

The particularly practical hopper shape of both Bosch Blade Shredders AXT Rapid makes it easier to fill the shredder. By using the practical plunger prodder, the user can shred up to 40 percent more material per time unit than with other blade shredders. To achieve a high material throughput rate, Bosch has equipped the two new tools with new, even more powerful blades. These are laser-cut and double-hardened using the established Swiss manufacturing process. This guarantees an extremely high cutting performance and an up to 70 percent longer service life than the predecessor models. 

Bosch ensures the safety of the user with a splash guard in the hopper, a lockable on/off switch, an emergency stop button and an electronically controlled restart lock. An overload protection guarantees a long service life of motor and gears. The low weight of only 11,5 or 12 kilograms, the large, stair-climbing wheels and an ergonomically shaped handle make it very easy to transport the shredders to the place of work.
