Powerful, lightweight, ergonomic, long running time: 
The hedgecutters AHS 41 Accu and AHS 52 Accu from Bosch

Cordless garden tools are growing in popularity. The hobby gardener benefits from cordless tools especially in the garden or on the allotment, where no mains socket is within reach. However, insufficient battery operating times often spoil the fun if, for example, the battery needs to be charged before the work is finished.

Bosch offers an impressive solution for this in two versions with the new hedgecutters AHS 41 Accu and AHS 52 Accu: the machines have different cutter lengths of 41 or 52 centimetres and both work with a powerful 14.4-Volt battery in nickel cadmium technology. The capacity of this battery is sufficient for up to 55 minutes of operation under load. This enables you to effortlessly shape up the hedges of medium-sizes gardens. If larger hedges have to be cut, a second battery provides assistance: it comes as standard with the larger version (AHS 52 Accu).

In addition to this, the battery and charger of the new hedgecutters fit the cordless power tools in the 14.4 Volt class from Bosch. This includes drill/drivers, impact drills, hand-held circular saws, jigsaws, air pumps and lights. With one charged battery, the owner can use these tools to perform all different kinds of work.

The new hedgecutters are especially lightweight at just 2.5 or 2.6 kilograms including battery. Thanks to the optimum centre of gravity of the tools and the large distance between the two handles, they can be conveniently and safely guided in any cutting position. The diamond-ground cutters with a tooth width of 15 millimetres allow for rapid work progress.

Bosch offers the innovative "Collecto" cuttings collector with both hedgecutters. With a horizontal cutting movement, the Collecto gathers the clippings allowing them to be tipped sideways onto the ground. This prevents cuttings from falling into the hedge. It is particularly convenient to work with the Collecto when used with a spread-out clippings sheet.
