The different types of polishing equipment are polishing felt, polishing sponge and lambswool bonnet. The polishing felt is used to work-in polishes, the polishing sponge is used to rub-in wax, and the lambswool bonnet is used for high-gloss polishing, for example of cars. If you want to polish especially carefully, replace the sanding plate with a rubber sanding plate and then attach a polishing felt, polishing sponge or lambswool bonnet.
