With the BOSCH Cordless Screwdrivers
and Cordless Impact Drill/Drivers, you can not only
insert but also remove screws. All you have to do is set
the direction of rotation switch accordingly: right
rotation for insertion and left rotation for removal.
However, so that you can perform screwdriving tasks, you
have to insert the suitable
screwdriver bits in the drill chuck. There are four
suitable bit shapes for different screw heads: slotted,
hexagon socket, cross-head and Torx. |

If you want to drive several screws in succession
into, for example, wood, you can set the turning power
or torque by using the torque setting ring. When the
machine reaches the set value, it automatically stops
driving the screw. In this way, all screws are tightened
with the same force. None are over tightened or
damaged.
The main switch controls the rotational speed. It
works like the accelerator in a car: the more you press,
the faster it moves. That means the more firmly you
press the main switch on your Bosch Cordless Screwdriver
or impact drill/driver, the faster the machine drives
screws or drills.
BOSCH Cordless Screwdrivers and Cordless Impact
Driver/Drills have 2-speed gearing. This works in the
same way as the gearbox of a car: low speed with high
torque in 1st gear, high speed with lower torque in 2nd
gear. In switching back to first gear, you select higher
turning power. You need this, for example, to insert
screws with larger diameters. |
