Thomas Donato

Thomas Donato

Thomas Donato has been president of the Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH since June 1st, 2023. His responsibilities include the areas corporate strategy and business development, engineering, digitalisation, quality, corporate communications as well as environmental protection and sustainability. In addition, he is responsible for the business units Global Tools, Outdoor & Garden, Measuring Tools, Rotary Tools, and Accessories as well as new growth areas.

Thomas Donato studied electrical and automation technology at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and at Dublin Institute of Technology (Ireland). Since then, he has completed various positions at ABB Robotics and was member of the Board of Management of Rockwell Automation Inc. Most recently, he was responsible for global sales and factory automation as Member of the Board of Management at Bosch Rexroth.

Dr. Katharina Hartl

Dr. Katharina Hartl has been a member of the board of management of the Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH since May 1st, 2023. Her responsibilities include finance and controlling, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics, human resources, legal services, and compliance.

Dr. Katharina Hartl received a doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck and joined the Bosch Group in 2003 as a trainee. Since then, she has completed various commercial positions in Germany and China. Most recently, she was responsible for the field of electrification as Senior Vice President Finance and Controlling in the division of Powertrain Solutions.

Lennart de Vet

Lennart de Vet

Lennart de Vet has been a member of the board of management of the Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH since January 1st, 2019. His responsibilities include the areas marketing, sales, user experience and design. In addition, he is responsible for the company's business in the regions.

Lennart de Vet joined Bosch Power Tools in 2001 after completing his degree in Business Administration. He started his career in the accessories business where he occupied several positions in marketing and sales. In his last position, Lennart de Vet spent four years in Shanghai (China), where he was in charge of the Business Unit Bosch Professional Power Tools Emerging Markets as Senior Vice President.

FSC®-Certification

Since the end of 2023, the paper-based abrasives from Bosch Power Tools in Europe, USA, Canada and Mexico are FSC®-certified with the FSC™ Mix label. This relates to all paper-based abrasives manufactured after 09/2021, with the exception of the C410, C420, C422, C423 lines, which are not currently certified. FSC®-certification serves as a guarantee that the paper used in the manufacture of our abrasive papers is made of material from well-managed, FSC®-certified forests and other controlled sources. In this way, we are also reinforcing the sense of responsibility throughout our supply chain.

* With its more than 400 locations worldwide, the Bosch Group has been carbon neutral overall (scopes 1 & 2) since 2020. To achieve carbon neutrality, we employ four levers: improving energy efficiency, generating our own energy from renewable sources (new clean power), purchasing electricity from renewable sources (green electricity), and – as a last resort – offsetting residual CO₂ emissions with carbon credits. Scopes 1, 2, and 3 are used according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.
